It began with the young Caleb Daniel Lit and his vision. A vision of a new rock genre that combined elements of grunge, metal and massive pop hooks with retro electronic sounds [Amiga 500, .IFF]. Already at an early age, Caleb was talented but his way was clouded; his road winding and a rocky one for a long time. The year 2009 marked the ending of an 12 year old lineup [Bleak]. Frustrated after so much time, Caleb turned to the darker side of music and kept going on to this new musical direction. While creating the new, he kept his ‘pyro’-logo and his previous work [Burns Inside]. He started to feel as if he’d turned to The Dark Side of music. Suddenly his mind was clouded no more, his vision clear – and he gave a name to this new genre: The Imperial Rock.

Caleb needed “The Imperial Forces” – new members to his band. He approached a man whom he had met along the way: a seasoned drums specialist Tayo from a renowned group, Killer. Caleb offered him a place in his band, and Tayo consented. Soon they started converting more men – and it wasn’t long before Tayo’s brother in arms, Jay, joined on the base. A born Sith, Erkka, decided to take the 6 string, and after being exposed to the ways of our Dark Lord, Waino – unmatched in his abilities – gave his 7 string in the service of The Dark Side. Already an elite group of Sith, it was only one man short – Caleb unveiled his strongest ally: the master of electronic sounds, T-Noir, who worked for the Empire. The circle was complete, the group was whole – only to be named. Turning to back to the paragon of his past [Deftones], Caleb chose a name.
The new album ‘THE DARK SIDE’ is a solid manifestation of mundane intervention in divine affairs for mortals to enjoy, consume and indulge in over and over again. ‘The Imperia [Call Me Now]‘, a dark and majestic song with cryptic lyrics explains the true meaning of The Imperial Rock. While straightforward rock songs like ‘Halo [Hello Beautiful]‘ and ‘Breathe’ hit people in the head with fiery energy and with simple killer melodies that will occupy their souls for good. The fragile story of ‘Ariel’ lets you in the tragedy beneath the Dark Side.
Led by Caleb with his amazing pipes and slick tunes, Fireal is primed ready to serve the empire with a healthy dose of emotion, excitement, out-of-body experiences and soothing sonic sculptures, delivered by decibels. The mixture that they prescribe and administer is a charming sonic potion of Imperial Rock , a genre that crushes the walls of sound with sensitive pop aesthetics and more hooks than on a ten-inch Rapala lure. Fireal burns with red flames and black shades, it leaves no living soul cold. Even in the shivering pits of Hell or the blizzards of the Arctic Circle.
